The Kaw Nation is offering, under sealed bid method, the following properties:
- Part of Eagle Drive II Property: approximately 11.5 acres for Cutting Hay, property located within Sec. 4, T26N-R4E (Sec.4, 1/4SW, 1/4NW) Kaw City, Kay County, Oklahoma.
- Part of Johnston Property: Field #9 for Cutting Hay, property located within Sec. 6, T28N, R1W, Braman, Kay County, Oklahoma
- Part of Council Grove Property: approximately 29 acres for cutting hay. The property is located within Sec. 29, T16S-R9E Council Grove, Morris County, KS; fields #2 and #4 of Allegawaho Memorial Heritage Park.
The lease term will be for three (3) years. Sealed bids submitted in response to the lease notice will be publicly opened at 11:00 a.m., March 4, 2016, at the Kaw Nation PowWow grounds in the Kaw Nation Community Building, 12613 E. Furguson Ave., Kaw City, OK.
All bids are subject to acceptance and approval of the contract and contingent upon approval by the Kaw Nation Tribal Council. The right is reserved by the Kaw Nation Tribal Council to waive technical defects, to reject any and all bids, and to disapprove and reject prior to approval of lease made on an accepted bid. Past compliance activities and/or bid history by bidders will be considered in award of the bid. The right of Kaw Nation to claim owner’s use of the property prior to lease approval is recognized.
